چکیده
Dryland farming is still to be a main activity of the community around part Forest Area (Bagian Daerah Hutan/BDH), Panggang, Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (KPH) Yogyakarta. This study aimed determine efficiency dryland and factors that influencefarming income. The survey method was used carry out data information by interview farmer. R/C analysis, labor productivity capital analysis were farming. Furthermore, effect production input on efficiency, multiple linear regression carried out. results showed BDH Panggang forest not efficient because value R/C<1 (0,44), Rp 29.522,69/working people’s day lower than local standard wage 50.000/ working day, productivities land are negative value. production, area, seed cost, fertilizer pesticide have simultaneously impacted farmers’ income for cost been significant in

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Assessment of productive efficiency for irrigated and dryland wheat farming in Iran using Data Envelopment Analysis
Wheat is widely grown in Iran as a staple food; therefore, the government there encourages farmers to produce wheat (a common agricultural enterprise) by increasing farm productivity and efficiency. The study compares the efficiency of wheat production for dryland (low input) and irrigated (high input) systems across Iranian provinces by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The average techni...
متن کاملAgronomic options for improving rainfall-use efficiency of crops in dryland farming systems.
Yields of dryland (rainfed) wheat in Australia have increased steadily over the past century despite rainfall being unchanged, indicating that the rainfall-use efficiency has increased. Analyses suggest that at least half of the increase in rainfall-use efficiency can be attributed to improved agronomic management. Various methods of analysing the factors influencing dryland yields and rainfall...
متن کاملAdvances in Dryland Farming in the Inland Pacific Northwest
Soil amendments can improve the sustainability of agricultural systems by building soil carbon and improving numerous other soil health indicators, including soil structure, water infiltration and retention, bulk density, nutrient availability, and microbial activity. This chapter covers some general considerations relevant to the use of soil amendments followed by a discussion of biosolids, an...
متن کاملImpacts of manure application on soil environment, rainfall use efficiency and crop biomass under dryland farming
Because of inadequate nutrient and water supply, soils are often unproductive in Northwest China. We studied the effects of manure application at low (LM 7.5 t ha(-1)), medium (MM 15 t ha(-1)), and high (HM 22.5 t ha(-1)) rates combined with fixed levels of chemical fertilizers on maize growth and rainfall use efficiency compared with chemical fertilizers (CK) under semi-arid conditions over a...
